COMMUNITY INFORMATION

Recreational Facilities:

Please be prepared to show proof that you are a resident of our community.  A Photo ID is required to access Recreational Facilities (Pool, Gym, etc.) 

Trash:

Tuesday and Friday. Containers must not be set curbside prior to 6 p.m. the evening before collection. (This deters foraging critters)  Large items are not part of regular items for disposal. Before you bring them to the curb call 407-464-0664 to schedule a pick up date.

Recycle Aluminum Cans on Fridays. Please place in separate bag/container, for the Can Can Committee to pick up.


YARD WASTE  Pick up on Wednesday

Yard waste is vegetative matter resulting from yard and landscaping maintenance on your property and consists of tree branches, leaves, grass clippings, and palm fronds.

  • A total of fifteen (15) containers will be picked up each collection day, in any combination of bags, tied bundles or containers. 
  • Bundles can be no longer than four (4) feet or contain branches larger than four (4) inches in diameter. 
  • Bundles, bags, or containers can weight no more than 50 pounds each. 
  • The hauler will leave behind containers exceeding the 50 gallon/50 pound limit, special waste (such as construction and/or demolition debris, household hazardous wastes, tires, etc.), or garbage mixed with yard waste with a tag indicating the reason.

Cars and Parking

The speed limit at Lake of the Woods is 15 miles per hour.

Guest parking is provided at the end of the block in marked places and at the clubhouse.
Guest Parking spaces are in short supply and are for guests only.

Parking permits are required for vehicles parked at the end of streets and at the clubhouse, overnight.

Vehicles illegally-parked on the street and on the grass will be towed without notice, any time of the day or night.
